Mahalo Tehama County Library

Yesterday, we had our last gig at the Tehama County Library (this time at the branch in Corning, CA) for their summer "Uke Can Do It" music program. We had a lovely time encouraging local youth to learn how to play the ukulele. The library permanently has a collection of ukuleles (with accessories and learning materials) which can be checked out on an extended basis. We are also very happy and thankful that the Red Bluff branch of the Tehama County Library is generously offering to allow us to host our meetings at their location moving forward. We hope this may spark more interest in the clup and provide an additional resource for library patrons who are interested in learning more about how to play this unique little instrument. Meetings will now be from 5:30PM-7:00PM on the second Tuesday montly at the Red Bluff Tehama County Library (545 Diamond Ave, Red Bluff, CA 96080). As always, our meetings will be free and open to people with all levels of experience and interest.

Here's a little video clip of us at the library. This is our original children’s song which is fun and easy to play - and it only has two chords: F and C7. It’s called “I Had A Cat, How About That”
