The South Redding Ukulele Club meets on the first and third Thursday of each month from 5:30PM-8:00PM. We welcome all instruments, all ages, all levels of experience, and all music enthusiasts! Our Mama
We had a great time last night with our parent club, the Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz (UCSC). Founder Andy Andrews was in town tooting his horn (he is a hot shot on a saxophone), and we all had a blast. After chatting with UCSC co-founder, Peter Thomas, we came to the mutual agreement that we are not separate clubs at all; we are a daughter club (sub club, if you will) of UCSC - merely an extension of the spirit and enthusiasm of the larger club, reaching an audience and membership which may not have otherwise found a home in the world of uke. Here is a photo of KUK at the meeting last night with Andy. Groovy stuff, uke!
